Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. My name is Dustin Cook, and this will begin my 4th year as the Middle School Principal at Eastern. I am looking forward to getting to know the students & families who are a part of Eastern Local Schools.
EMS will have an in-person open house this year on two separate dates.
Monday, August 14th, starting at 5:30 for all students entering grade 6,7, and 8.
Our first day for students will be August 16, 2023. Our school day begins at 7:30am and dismisses at 2pm.

It is our goal at EMS to provide a safe and structured learning environment in which students can apply their 21st century skills to communicate effectively, think critically, and solve problems. With high standards and high expectations, students will become responsible learners who can not only work collaboratively, but also be accountable for their own academic goals and improving their character.
